Kamala Harris' debate performance felt so good...
It wasn't JUST that she WON, though we are all so relieved for that. But what we saw on that stage Tuesday night was a competent, powerful, brilliant, relatable woman who is savvy and capable. She has a plan, and she is working for the American people. An "opportunity economy" is about US, folks that know that all boats rise with the tide. It's about quality education that's available to all, it's about good jobs, it's about environmental protections that will support life on earth! The Vice President / Democratic Presidential Nominee is doing her part and doing it exceedingly well.
Now it's OUR turn to keep moving the ball down the field. It's been unprecedented, the kind of enthusiasm we've seen from Democrats across North Texas. Folks are registering their neighbors to vote, volunteering with the campaigns and looking for more opportunities to help Democrats win - Up and Down the ballot - in November. We know that our democracy is at stake - our freedoms and our very way of life are being threatened with the almost fictional sounding Project 2025. We have to keep the momentum going.

September 21st, Rep James Talarico, former teacher and current social media phenom, will headline our Rally for Quality Public Education! This event is going to be a shared event with several other area clubs, and we are so thankful to be collaborating with the award winning Student Government Association, Dallas College Richland Branch!
