Each month at the RAD Happy Hour, a local nonprofit shares their mission and how to get engaged. These organizations fill the gaps in their communities in ways that benefit all of us.

Water for Sand Branch Coalition
Our mission is to bring water, sewer, and trash collection services to the Sand Branch community.
Resource Center
Pursues societal equity by proudly offering LGBTQIA+ affirming resources designed to improve health and wellness, strengthen families and communities, and provide transformative education and advocacy.
Humanitarian Outreach for Migrant Emotional Health
Ensures the voices of traumatized immigrants are heard and understood by listening to and documenting their accounts of human rights abuses, by serving as expert witnesses for their asylum petitions, and by advocating for policies and social norms that preserve their emotional health.
Journey of Hope
Provides free peer support groups to children, adolescents and their parents or adult caregivers who have experienced a death.
Sunday Supper Foundation
Hosts monthly pop up supper clubs in private homes with authentic homemade ethnic food cooked by local refugee families to raise funds in support of the family's resettlement journey
The Counseling Place
Provides affordable professional counseling and education services that strengthen our community.
Hope’s Door New Beginning Center
Offers intervention and prevention services to individuals and families affected by intimate partner and family violence and provides education programs that enhance the community’s capacity to respond.
Local Good Collective
Exists to make it easy to love local and do good. As we all join in, lives change and our community flourishes. We’re made up of four distinct spaces doing good in DFW.
Shadow Shine
Builds connections between the siblings of children with special healthcare needs, by making them feel heard and seen in a safe space with support, meaningful relationships and leadership opportunities.
Vecinos Unidos DFW
Works to inform, uplift, and mobilize immigrant and marginalized communities across North Texas — starting with Know Your Rights and expanding into housing, employment, health access, and family preparedness.
Rebuilding Together North Texas
Works to preserve affordable home ownership and revitalize communities with free home and facility repairs.
Donate2Impact
Offers a free at-home pick up service to make giving back simple and convenient in the DFW area. Donated goods are converted into financial support to local charities.
Richardson Symphony Orchestra
Engages, educates, and unites our community with inspiring musical performances.
Visiting Nurse Association - Meals on Wheels
Provides hot, nutritious, freshly prepared meals five days a week to residents who cannot obtain or prepare meals for themselves due to illness, advanced age or disability. These meals contribute to the overall health and well-being of participating seniors, including those with chronic illnesses and frail seniors who are homebound.
The Arts Community Alliance
Invests in the vibrancy and resilience of a diverse Dallas arts community, envisioning a thriving arts landscape that is celebrated and accessible to everyone.
Feed My Starving Children
Feeds God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit.
Take Me Home Pet Rescue
Saves the lives of unwanted cats and dogs by providing a safe haven through compassionate fostering until they find their forever homes.
Parkinson Voice Project
Helps people with Parkinson’s and related disorders REGAIN and RETAIN their speech and swallowing.
Lambie’s Love
Offers compassion, inclusive support, and resources to bereaved families of child loss, and a special Bereavement Box Donation Program for local NICUs.
