IT'S (PAST) TIME TO VOTE IN THE PRIMARY!!

Democrat turnout is outpacing Rs by A LOT!!

Dear Fellow Democrat,

Only 18% of registered voters voted in the 2022 primary in Texas. So far in the first seven days of this 2026 primary season, 8% of voters have cast their ballots, double the number from 2022 at this point. As of Sunday, Democrats had nearly doubled their turnout compared to the 2024 election! In Dallas County, the numbers as of today are almost 3.5 times what they were at this point in 2022! These numbers are phenomenal! The total Democratic vote in 2022 was just shy of 60,000... as of yesterday, nearly 95,000 people have voted in the Democratic primary in Dallas County!!! In Collin County, the turnout in the Dem primary is also three times what it was at this point in '22, already 10,000 votes higher than the total. And in this "red" county, Democrats have cast more ballots than Republicans by 239!! That's a lot of numbers, folks, but it's worth reading again. And play around with this cool chart that compares the whole state - Democrats are outvoting the Republicans by nearly 112,000 ballots!!  

LET'S KEEP IT UP!! If  you have not cast your ballot yet, go get it done!! Early voting closes on Friday. In Dallas County ESPECIALLY,  you need to vote early. Early voting is still allowed at any location in the county, but ON ELECTION DAY, YOU HAVE TO VOTE IN YOUR DESIGNATED PRECINCT!!  If you need a list (you DO) you can find our 2026 RAD Primary Endorsements on our website, and there's a link to the printable version that you can take with you!! 

Also!! We need volunteers to help with poll greeting!! We have nice slate cards with our RAD endorsements on them that we are handing out at the polls. You can sign up to greet at any of the Early Voting Locations in several time slots per day, or sign up on Election Day at even MORE locations!! In Dallas County, several of the spots are set up for Democrats ONLY, so everyone who shows up is a "friendly"... THAT will be FUN! This is REALLY important work that is super helpful for people to vote all the way down the ticket! If they don't have this information, they'll either NOT vote for the folks running in lesser known races, or they will vote without being informed! PLEASE HELP US OUT!  

IF YOU MISSED OUR LAST HAPPY HOUR, you missed one for the books! We met at our new location - Northside Drafthouse & Eatery - and we overflowed the place with about 300 attendees!! The video on YouTube turned out pretty good, so check it out and get a good dose of energy from BETO, Gina, Vikki, Michael, and MIHAELA, with a bonus helping from DAN! There was so much energy in that room that winning Texas this year seems inevitable! But WE KNOW that it will take work -  sustained, smart, organized and persistent work! Sign up with a campaign now and let's put our shoulders into it! As usual, we continue to show up weekly, ROARing on the bridge and with our signs! We are now SIX months into our weekly protests, and they continue to be a fun and effective way to be inspiring to others and to lift our spirits in community. You can join the ROAR Bridge Brigade on Thursday evenings from 3:30 - 5:30 and Saturday mornings from 9-10 on the Collins Blvd Bridge over I-75 (park at Cafe Max on the east side and walk up!); they are always happy to have more hands to hold the banners and flags and wave at the honking cars on Central! We also meet every Saturday morning from 10-11 on the southeast corner of Campbell & 75 to let our community know that there is a resistance in Richardson! Join Us! 

Momentum is growing, and it is going to be a LONG year to get to the midterms and it will require everything of all of us. Buckle up, focus on what we CAN do, what we MUST do, and in the meantime - BRING A FRIEND AND GO VOTE!!!
