67 days till Election Day! There is so much going on and so much more coming up that I don't have the presence of mind to expound on the state of our world. (Imagine that?!) So let's just hit on opportunities to get engaged!
POSTCARD PARTIES! Every Wednesday evening in September, we are meeting at Brass Tap to write postcards! Last time there were over 50 people who showed up! Sign up for details! Many of our local candidates will be represented at the party, so join us! We have raised $2315 of the $4300 we need to get them mailed out. We are asking for donations to help pay for postage!

Next Saturday, September 7, we have a DAY OF ACTION planned! We'll meet at Judge Dana Huffman's office and do some phone banking, meet candidates, learn about relational networking to get out the vote, and get turfs and lit to get out and block walk for our amazing candidates! JOIN US!
In just three weeks, Rep James Talarico, former teacher and current social media phenom, will headline our Rally for Quality Public Education! This event is going to be a shared event with several other area clubs, and we are so thankful to be collaborating with the award winning Student Government Association, Dallas College Richland Branch! We plan to fill a 450-seat auditorium at their Fannin Hall on Sept 21, from 3-5! Register here for details!
